Uganda’s quest for strong industrial growth and development is on an upward trajectory. Latest data sets suggest that Uganda has over 5,000 operational in various sectors.
The National Development Plan III, has three programmes directly linked with industrialization: Manufacturing; Innovation, Technology Transfer and Development; and Private Sector Development.
The manufacturing industrial sector in Uganda consists of the production of processed foods, beverages, non-metallic minerals, wood and wood products , chemical products, leather and footwear, textiles, and wearing apparels.
The sector faces stiff competition from well established firms both regionally and globally. Its thus inevitable that the sector makes priductivity improvements to; Lower costs of prouction, Improve delivery times, Minimize wastage, ensure consistent quality and easy identification at point of sale.
These improvements present an opportunity that Mburo Technologies would like to tap in and deliver world stand products and services at affordable costs in a timely manner.
